In with the new and out (eventually) with the old ten pound note.

A reminder that in 6 days’ time on 14^th September the new polymer £10 note will be introduced in a similar fashion as occurred for the £5 note.

In Spring 2018 the “old” £10 note will be phased out but no specific date has yet been set and 3 months’ notice of such is promised.

The change will of course have the usual impact on the need to change machines which accept currency in note form.
